Most of our cable car systems are high-tech installations and it takes real specialists to operate and maintain them. Whether it's a 10-seater gondola lift, 8-seater chairlift or T-bar lift, you will learn how to operate them all and become a true all-rounder.

Double apprenticeship ropeway technician - electrical technician

Apprenticeship period: 4 years

With this dual apprenticeship, you will be trained as a ropeway technician and electrical engineer in one. In addition to the tasks of a ropeway technician, you can also expect exciting electrical engineering work, for example in the low-voltage and low-current areas. Among other things, you will be entrusted with the maintenance of cable car and snowmaking systems.

Your workplace will be very varied during your apprenticeship, ranging from the Dachstein aerial tramway at 2,700 meters above sea level to the cable cars on the Planai, Hochwurzen and Galsterberg and the double chairlift on the Wilden Berg in Mautern.
